Shared Sacrifice: Eliminating ObamaCare Could Save $2 Trillion
...Let’s abandon ideological rigidity and listen to the American people. Let’s repeal ObamaCare. A new Rasmussen poll finds that independent voters want to repeal the health care reform legislation by a margin of 32 points, 63% to 31%. A recent Real Clear Politics average of polls finds that a mere 38.6% of voters favor retaining the plan.

Shelving the plan would trim more than $2 trillion from the deficit. It would also make Sen. Harkins less of a liar for boasting that the Democrats’ motivation for raising the debt limit is not to finance “future borrowing.” (It would not, however, make the senator less of a hothead.)
