Overweight Asthmatic Tased to Death in Home Raid by Cops Looking for Cocaine (That They Don't Seem to Find)
...Relatives of a man who was killed after police entered his home and tased him are struggling to come to terms with how he died.

“They physically pulled him off the couch because, like I said, he was asleep. They pulled him off the couch and they tried to put him on his stomach. He can’t breathe on his stomach. He don’t even lie on the bed on his stomach,” said Donna Randle, the mother of victim Jarmaine Darden, 34.

Zero tolerance officers were executing a search warrant at his southeast Fort Worth house on May 16, searching for cocaine, when according to police reports the incident happened. The same report states that Darden resisted arrest.

But family members said the 350 pound father of two was a chronic asthmatic and had to sleep sitting up.

“He had his hands behind his back the whole time. But me and about five other people were hollering the whole time, ‘He cannot breathe like that. Please handcuff him on his side,’” said Randle.

Darden’s brother said the officer warned his brother that if he didn’t get on his stomach, they were going to to taze him… and then they did. That’s when Darden started having trouble breathing, according to his brother Eric.

Witnesses said Darden was shocked with a taser at least twice; then stopped breathing and died.

Police records show five arrests were made but there isn’t any mention of police finding cocaine....

Miami Cops Choke Hold Teen for Staring at Them. A Puppy is Involved.
...Fourteen-year-old Tremaine McMillian didn't threaten police. He didn't attack them. He wasn't armed. All the black teenager did was appear threatening by shooting Miami-Dade police officers a few "dehumanizing stares," and that was apparently enough for the officers to decide to slam him against the ground and put him in a chokehold.

During Memorial Day weekend, McMillian was rough-housing with another teenager on the sand. Police approached the teen on an ATV and told him that wasn't acceptable behavior. They asked him where his parents were, but MicMillian attempted to walk away. The officer jumped off the ATV, and tried to physically restrain the teen. According to CBS Miami, police say the 14-year-old kid gave them "'dehumanizing stares,' clenched his fists and appeared threatening."...

Widow wants answers after man is fatally shot by Fort Worth police
FORT WORTH, Texas — Kathy Waller never imagined that when Jerry Waller went to find out what was causing a ruckus outside their garage early Tuesday morning, it would be the last time she would see her 72-year-old husband alive.

"Married 46 years, and then somebody gets a little trigger-happy and away they go," she told News 8.

Fort Worth police said the shooter was one of their own.

Officers were responding to a burglar alarm off North Havenwood Lane when they ended up on the Waller's property.

Police documents indicate the officers were supposed to be responding to a home across the street....

Oregon woman raped after police refuse to send out response unit
A woman was choked and raped following a 911 call to police in which the dispatcher told her to ask her attacker to "go away".

The incident, which occured late last August but was only widely reported last week, took place in Josephine County, Oregon, when a woman's ex-boyfriend tried to break into her home.

Instead of sending an officer to the scene, the police dispatcher advised, “I don’t have anybody to send out there. You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away? Do you know if he’s intoxicated or anything?”...
